I'm having the same issue. I followed all of the steps above except for uninstalling or resetting because it does not give me that option. What else can you suggest? I can not open microsoft edge and have lost my favorites file.

I would like to get it back. I am a senior so you need to speak in terms I will understand. Don't do anything Just try to restart the windows and if still edge dosen't open than install edge setup from another Browser and install on it.

And i am posting this after i tried it coz i was having same problem. Didn't work. Nothing suggested has worked.
